My eyes are drawn to things that are well-worn and used. I marvel at ingenious solutions born of necessity, as people find ways to eke out a bit more life from that which would appear to some as fully spent.

I’m intrigued by the tactile nature of worn surfaces. Their weathered states feel both comfortable and accomplished. They evoke stories of the people they have served through time.
